The Canadian Academy of Osteopathy & Holistic Health Sciences is here to teach, educate, and train you in the philosophy, science, and technique of Osteopathy. Our goal is to elevate the standards and applications of drugless manual Osteopathic practice. We accomplish this by providing professional education that develops excellence in the understanding and applications of the classical Osteopathic principles and practices through manipulative treatment. These methods, which are derived from the best in education and clinical practice, result in superior patient care and clinical outcomes.

Drugless Manual Osteopathy

We at the CAO-HHS are devoted to the continued development and applications of the classical foundations of Osteopathy. When Osteopathy was first "discovered" by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, it was built on basic fundamentals or "irrefutable truths" as Dr. Still called them, that would allow the well-trained Osteopath to be able to provide outstanding care without the use of drugs. This original goal of Dr. Still's is a driving force in our program. Thus we are strong supporters of "Classical Osteopathy".

We require that our students develop a thorough knowledge of the Health Sciences and the ability to competently apply Osteopathic Principles & Practices. We, as Dr. Still commanded, try to place our students on the "rock of reason" through the use of critical thinking methodology. This process, although quite demanding, produces outstanding drugless manual Osteopaths.
